Grun Group filed plans with the New York City Department of Buildings on June 16 to construct two nine-story residential buildings in Kew Gardens, Queens, totaling 108 units. The first building at 116-18 Grosvenor Lane will contain 58 units, while the second at 116-14 Grosvenor Lane will hold 50 units. Both parcels sit just south of Metropolitan Avenue, about a block from Forest Park.
Yonah Grunhut, CEO and founder of Grun Group, filed both plans, with Naresh Mahangu of engineering firm NKM listed as applicant of record. A stop work order is currently in place on the 116-14 Grosvenor Lane property, though the Department of Buildings did not provide details on the order.
