Pixelworks Partners With Kinepolis to Exhibit TrueCut Motion on Premium Laser Screens

Pixelworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PXLW) announced June 22 a partnership with Kinepolis Group to deploy its TrueCut Motion format across Kinepolis' Laser Ultra premium large format screens. The collaboration targets newly released theatrical titles enhanced with TrueCut Motion, which Pixelworks describes as "the most visually refined cinematic version format available."
Kinepolis Group, characterized in the announcement as "a market leader in cinema entertainment," operates a portfolio of premium screens across European markets. The partnership extends Pixelworks' addressable market in theatrical exhibition by linking its motion-processing technology to a major operator's installed base of laser projection systems. TrueCut Motion is designed to eliminate motion artifacts in theatrical presentations while preserving the filmmakers' creative intent.
