GeoPura specializes in hydrogen-based power solutions for off-grid and temporary power applications, a market segment Ballard has not previously targeted directly with integrated systems. The acquisition brings Ballard an established customer base in the UK and operational expertise in deploying hydrogen fuel cells for events, construction sites, and remote power needs. GeoPura's business model focuses on power-as-a-service rather than hardware sales alone, representing a shift in Ballard's go-to-market strategy.
