Barton Gold Appoints GR Engineering for Tunkillia Pre-Feasibility Study, Q1 2027 Target
Barton Gold Holdings has appointed GR Engineering Services to lead a pre-feasibility study for its Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia, targeting completion in Q1 2027. The study will incorporate resource upside from ongoing upgrade drilling that has infilled high-value open pit areas and identified higher-grade extensions.

Barton Gold Holdings Limited (ASX:BGD, OTCQB:BGDFF, FRA:BGD3) has initiated a pre-feasibility study for its Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia, engaging GR Engineering Services Limited to lead the work. The company announced June 21 that it is targeting completion in the first quarter of calendar year 2027.
The pre-feasibility study will incorporate prospective resource upside in open pit optimizations, drawing on ongoing upgrade drilling that has already infilled the highest-value S1 and S2 optimized open pit areas with broad, high-grade mineralization. Barton said the drilling has identified higher-grade extensions of the Area 51 open pit area, and that Phase 2 drilling has now expanded to target resource and grade upside mineralization in open pits.
